The Truett And Osborn Motorcycle Drags Celebrates 53 Years Of Racing.

Event Schedule

This action-packed weekend will feature Nitro motorcycles tearing down the track in a thunderous display of speed and power.

Saturday brings an elite lineup of motorcycle racers going head-to-head in an intense, heads-up battle format that runs all day long.

Sunday kicks off with a special Color Guard ceremony, followed by elimination rounds beginning at 1:00 PM.

Now in its 53rd season, the Truett & Osborn Motorcycle Drags roars onto the biggest stage in drag racing. The excitement starts Friday night with parking and a meet-and-greet. With seven racing classes—from street bikes to nitro-powered machines—plus vendors and a motorcycle swap meet, this is the ultimate weekend for motorcycle fans.

You can enter more than one bike, but only one bike per rider in each class. (You cannot ride two bikes in the same class.)

Any bike not qualified in Top Gas Classes can enter Bracket One.

Bye Runs

No Burn-outs past the start line. Bye Runs determined by fastest E.T. of previous round winners.

Pro Qualifying

Three rounds of Pro Qualifying on Saturday; 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. 

Top six qualifiers are LOCKED IN after third qualifying round. Final two spots determined in final qualifying round on Sunday. 

Ladder slots 1-6 locked in Saturday night.

Sunday final qualifying is for Ladder slots 7 and 8 only. Top 6 can run during final qualifying round for testing, but cannot improve ladder position.

Pro Tree

All classes run a 4-tenths Pro Tree. (Stage - All 3 yellow lights at once - 4 sec - Green).

Bracket Classes

Bracket One: 0.0 - 7.31 Seconds - 1/8 mile.

Bracket Two: 7.32 - 7.97 Seconds - 1/8 mile.

Kind of the Hill Race: 0.0 - 10.92 seconds - Held Saturday - Any E.T. Bike can enter - 100% Payback. - 1/8 mile

Second Chance Race: 0.0 - 10.92 seconds - Held Sunday - 1/8 mile

Second Chance Race

1. All contestants declare a "dial in" elapsed time, and try to run as close to that time as possible without going faster. Winner is the one who runs closest to their dial in, without breaking out.

2. If you "Break Out" (that is run faster than you declared) - You Lose. If both contestants "break out" the one who is closest to their dial in wins.

3. You can enter more than one bike, but only one bike per rider in each bracket. (You cannot ride 2 bikes in the same bracket)

4. No Burn-outs past the start line. Bye Runs determined by closest E.T. to dial in of previous round winners.

5. All classes run a 4-tenths Pro Tree. (Stage - AlI 3 yellow lights at once - .4 sec - Green).

6. In case of infractions, decision of Referee is FINAL. 15 mph speed limit on return road and pit area at ALL times.

Dave Larson, from Topeka, KS, has been racing Harleys for 30+ years. He has competed at the T&0 race every year since 2006.
